Young Masters - Chess Tournament

The 2026 tournament carries the subtitle “Young Masters” and is dedicated to promising young chess players. It gives our strongest young players the opportunity to achieve Grandmaster norms and norms toward International Master titles.

The average rating of the participants is around 2430, which is among the highest seen in tournaments held in Iceland for decades.
